Map and directions to our office
Hello!

Coastal Vision Center is thankful that doctors and staff have remained safe and healthy during this trying time. We are happy to be open and offer the quality care you expect while following CDC guidelines.

We are spacing our appointments to ensure social distancing and to have ample time to clean/disinfect in between patients . We have implemented new procedures and protocols to aid us in providing the best possible service and safety for all who enter the office.

For example, disinfecting wipes and cleaners are used throughout the day to thoroughly clean counters, tabletops, chairs, and any other compromised surface. Exam rooms are sanitized after each patient leaves the area. Isopropyl Alcohol 70% or greater is used to disinfect equipment after patient contact.

Our doctor/staff protocol include temperature check upon arrival and prior to leaving work each day. Surgical masks and gloves are worn when working with patients and discarded after each encounter.
As for the new patient protocol, the following is a list of what you can expect:
  • When scheduling an appointment, patient will be asked to answer questions about symptoms related to COVID-19 and recent travel.
  • If scheduling for a minor, one parent can accompany them in office. If scheduling for a senior that needs assistance, a spouse or caregiver can accompany.
  • Anyone who enters the office will be required to wear a face mask.
  • All paperwork should be filled out prior to arrival.
  • Patients may be asked to wait outside of building or in their car until prompted to enter by call, text, or staff retrieval.
  • All patients will be screened at the door with a health questionnaire and temperature reading.
  • Hand sanitizer will be offered at the door and available for use in every room.
  • Patients will immediately be seated in exam room.
  • Pre-testing will become post-testing after seeing the doctor. If additional testing is done, doctor will review after visit and call the patient with results.

Frame selection: All of our frames have been sterilized in an ultra-sonic cleaning unit prior to being placed on the frame board. Patients may pull frames from the board to place on one of the dispensing desks. Once frames have been selected, patient may try them on at the desk. A frame will never be placed back on the board until it has undergone the sterilization process once again.

We appreciate the loyalty and support of our existing patients and look forward to welcoming new faces. We want everyone to stay safe, healthy, and positive during this time. We are here to help.
