I brought my 7 year old son for his first visit with Dr. Bruce. She took her time to make him feel comfortable. She was very thorough examining him and explained everything along the way. We had been taking him to a Pediatric OD in Redondo Beach and he closed down his practice and we were not notified. We are very happy to find Coastal Vision Center and will continue to visit Dr. Bruce annually. The only set back is they do not accept MediCal but worth it even though we are a cash patient.

We have been coming here for years now. My two school age daughters are always so comfortable with Sheryl Bruce O.D. She really knows how to explain everything to them in a grade appropriate level. She is honest and very trustworthy in her recommendations. The front office staff are very professional and nice. The office is aesthetically pleasant and clean. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!!

My family really likes Coastal Vision Center, especially Dr. Bruce for her expertise. She had been incredible patient in working with our kids, always trying to find best solutions for them, especially because they are athletes and vision is important for them. Most importantly, Dr. Bruce stays up to date with all modern techniques, ensuring that we receive the most advanced care!

It was my first time to come to this clinic and I was impressed with the place. Well lighted and spacious. Stafff were friendly and helpful. Dr. Bruce was very nice and accommodating. She meticulously explained to me the importance and value of my eye examination. She is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to my friends for their eye exams.

I just started my vision appointments here and couldn’t be happier. The office is very organized and the process of getting signed up, signed in, and checked out after an appointment was simple. Dr. Sheryl Bruce is wonderful! She reviews all my eye conditions and test results, then explains them thoroughly and presents my treatment options to me. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The virtual reality headgear test thingy is really cool!

Excellent doctor patient treatment. Dr. Geering-Fend, is very detailed with the examinations and provided great explanations when asked questions about vision care and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

From time to time my contact lenses break while I’m wearing them and require professional removal. My previous eye care professionals were always swamped and it was a long wait(even with an appointment and a long wait to get an appointment) to get relief. Dr. Fend at Coastal medical gave me an appointment. I’m punctual and so was she. She checked my eyesight with the glasses I had to wear before proceeding and extracted two jagged broken remnants of the contacts which I believe had to have been defective.. She took the time to hear my ocular history . In other words, she was not working on an assembly line of patients, Highly recommend.

Coastal Vision Center are always the best. I've been a patient of both Dr Bruce and Dr Geering-Fend. They're always thorough, professional, and friendly. I can never recommend Coastal Vision Center enough.

I have had and have a lot of eye issues. Fortunately for me I also have Dr. Bruce. She explains what the problems are in terms I can understand. And than puts together a plan to make things better.

I couldn't have had a better experience! Was with Kaiser basically my whole life and recently obtained new insurance and found Costal Vision on the recommended list. Went and everyone from the front desk staff to Dr. Bruce were so helpful! Learned so much about my eye health! Very excited to continue coming here!
